geography and blood

shoes:

no streetcar, hopping over puddles
rain-slapped november / market street night

tenderloin tunnel vision, daylight saving time ends.

memory-map downtown, blocks
instinctive behavior

elevator:

a key and door
metropolis nights

forward-facing-eyed primate
warm and hairy

upstairs in nest
strongest and most beautiful, there

storming the death of beauty
her lips, exhausted and awkward

binary:

collapsed
tulip,

period.
