decoy

telegraphed in dramatic catchphrases:
                                                                           a split of hair
            upon monk's wardrobe
                and slumping shoulder

                                                                 to tell to not

ignore the materials
               (our loved structures)
blinking so into clarity

                                                                 this springing point:

               the eye to find
contexuality of tangerines
               insects       helicopters       cactus

a lip & long terrible sky
set afoot the turning world

                                                                 still there a man
he was            the only found
with holey shoes
                         cracked tincan smudges
                                                                 remnants of black
                                                                 mouth tape

after the release

                              from a highway
                  near new orleans

                                                            watching cars
                                    circle of lights

within there bloomed
                                                            a mantis lost
                                                            in the subway

so green & preyed
                  of tunnels left to
flying at the self
                                                            in dark and all
                                            that makes shapes
                                                                          in it

                  prohibited from sight
color of none to take in death only

                        habitual          ubiquitous
                        in and of roomless air

capable of taking
place of an eye

                                                            to form the idea of

                                            elephant
